Workshops & Sectionals 2011-2012
Workshop Schedule
Term 2 Requirements:
Please come to 2 sectionals and workshops.
During the regular workshops you need to gradeout (play for me) on the following skills (which should be practiced at home as part of your practice):
- (ALL GRADES)
- Winds - two scales and one skill lick. Finish the whole page of skill licks before you move on to a new page.
- Percussion - 1 scale, 1 rudiment, 1 mallet skill lick, 1 drum skill lick. Finish the whole page of skill licks before you move on to a new page. Advanced students do your rudiments in slow-fast-slow style; everyone else may do them at any tempo.
- A playing test in January (more on that later)
