2010 Youth Composition Festival, UMASS Lowell

Yonatan (Jonathan) Patsenker and Rachel Hawley were chosen by the UMASS Lowell committee to be among the 9 young composers showcased in a recital at UML on May 1.

Jonathan's work, Trapped! was written for the Wayland Middle School Jazz Band.  Click the link to hear the digital version.

Rachel's work, That Lower String Thing, for two cellos and two string bass, was inspired by an orchestra composition assignment, took on a life of its own and just grew!  Click on the link to hear the digital version.
